Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Automation & Web Scraping Engineer with extensive experience in designing and maintaining robust automation systems for complex, high-security web platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of modern anti-bot mechanisms and the ability to build automation solutions that remain reliable in continuously evolving detection environments. This position is intended for experienced professionals who have worked on advanced automation challenges and can operate independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain advanced browser automation and web scraping solutions Build resilient automation workflows for websites protected by sophisticated anti-bot and detection systems Analyze and adapt to evolving security mechanisms, including behavioral analysis and fingerprinting Optimize automation reliability, performance, and scalability Implement and manage session handling, cookies, headers, and authentication flows Troubleshoot and refine automation logic to ensure long-term stability Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented codebases
Required Technical Expertise Automation & Browser Control Strong hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks, including: Selenium Playwright Puppeteer Stealth or undetected browser drivers In-depth knowledge of headless and headful browser behavior Anti-Bot & Detection Awareness Practical experience working around advanced bot-mitigation systems
Understanding of: Behavioral and adaptive CAPTCHA mechanisms Browser fingerprinting (canvas, WebGL, audio, fonts, TLS, etc.) Session correlation and risk-based challenges Networking & Infrastructure Experience with residential, mobile, and rotating proxy solutions Knowledge of IP reputation management and geo-targeting strategies Ability to deploy and manage automation on servers or VPS environments
Programming Skills Strong proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript (TypeScript preferred) Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Preferred Qualifications Experience automating platforms with high security and aggressive detection mechanisms Strong debugging and JavaScript analysis skills Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker) and automation scaling Understanding of browser internals or Chromium-based customization Candidate Profile Demonstrated success in solving complex automation challenges Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and security awareness Ability to work independently in a remote environment Commitment to building reliable, production-ready systems
