Manager, Software Engineering – Remote (USA Only) at Femploy
Femploy by Infinite Code is recruiting for a high-impact Manager, Software Engineering for a
premier, remote-first FinTech leader.
This is a fully remote (US) leadership opportunity for a hands-on manager who thrives in distributed
environments. We are looking for a technical leader with 7+ years of experience to scale a high
performing team building secure, cloud-native financial products. This role perfectly balances
architectural guidance in Go, Java, or JavaScript with strategic people management and cross
functional delivery.
What You’ll Do
Team Leadership & Delivery
• Lead day-to-day engineering operations (sprint planning, grooming, standups, retrospectives)
• Manage and grow a team of high-performing engineers
• Drive execution and ensure timely, high-quality delivery
Technical Direction
• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and user-facing applications
• Provide architectural guidance and ensure scalability, reliability, and security
• Manage technical debt to maintain development velocity and system stability
Process & Execution
• Implement and optimize agile development processes
• Introduce best practices to improve engineering efficiency and quality
• Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives and standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Product, Design, and other stakeholders
• Align engineering output with company objectives and roadmap
• Communicate technical constraints and opportunities clearly
People Management
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent
• Conduct performance management and career development planning
• Foster a strong, collaborative, and high-performance team culture
Core Requirements
• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years in technical leadership or engineering management
• Hands-on coding experience in Go, Java, or JavaScript
• Proven experience building secure, scalable systems and services

Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive base salary: $182,500 – $240,000
