Head of Fintech & AI Products at Lovie.co About the Role Lovie is hiring a Head of Fintech & AI Products to define and lead our product strategy, execution, and team as we build next-generation financial software powered by AI. This is a foundational leadership role with full ownership of the product function. You will partner directly with the Founder to decide what we build, why it matters, and how we ship it. Then drive execution from 0→1 through scale. This is not a strategy-only role. You will operate as a hands-on product leader who: Sets direction Drives execution Maintains a high quality bar Gets deep into the details when needed You should be equally strong in product thinking, execution discipline, and builder-level judgment, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity while shipping at high velocity. What You’ll Own Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and prioritize Lovie’s fintech and AI product portfolio, including sequencing, tradeoffs, and long-term vision. End-to-End Product Execution: Lead products from concept → launch → iteration, staying close to the details that determine quality and usability. Fintech Platform Development: Own core financial workflows such as payments, banking, money movement, reconciliation, ledgers, and automation. AI-Native Product Development: Define how AI is used across both the product experience and internal development workflows to increase speed and quality. Customer Insight & Product Direction: Develop deep understanding of business users and translate real-world workflows into differentiated product experiences. Cross-Functional Leadership: Align engineering, design, compliance, operations, and GTM around a clear product direction and execution cadence. Team Building & Leadership: Build and scale the product organization, coach existing team members, and set the standard for product excellence. What You’ll Do Partner with the Founder to translate company priorities into a focused, high-impact product strategy Drive product development across the full lifecycle—from discovery and definition to launch and scale Write and review high-quality product specs that serve as the source of truth in an async-first environment Work closely with engineering on system design, reliability, controls, integrations, and edge cases Prototype and pressure-test ideas, including reviewing AI-assisted output with strong product judgment Define where and how AI meaningfully improves customer workflows—without introducing unnecessary risk or complexity Establish product operating standards across documentation, decision-making, and execution speed What We’re Looking For Proven Product Leadership: Experience leading and shipping impactful fintech products in production, ideally in B2B environments Deep Fintech Expertise: Strong understanding of business financial workflows (payments, reconciliation, ledgers, operations) 0→1 and Scaling Experience: Ability to operate in early-stage ambiguity and build systems that scale Exceptional Writing & Product Thinking: Ability to create clear, high-fidelity specs and communicate complex ideas simply Strong Execution Discipline: Track record of shipping high-quality products quickly without sacrificing rigor Technical & Builder Fluency: Comfortable prototyping, validating flows, and working closely with engineering systems AI Product Fluency: Practical understanding of how AI improves products and workflows—not just as a feature, but as leverage Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to align diverse teams and drive decisions across product, engineering, compliance, and GTM Async-First Mindset: Comfortable leading through writing, documentation, and structured thinking Team Leadership: Experience hiring, developing, and leading high-performing product teams Founder-Level Partnership: Comfortable operating with high ownership, speed, and incomplete information What Sets Top Candidates Apart Experience building fintech or AI products at the core of business operations Strong product judgment around trust, reliability, and real-world usability Ability to balance speed with control in high-stakes environments Builder mindset with a bias toward action, not coordination High standards for clarity, quality, and decision-making Why This Role This is an opportunity to build and shape the product foundation of a company operating at the intersection of fintech and AI.
