Job description Position: Software Developer (Bilingual in Spanish/English) Job Type: Full-time/Permanent Location: Miami Lakes, Florida Work Model: Hybrid (1-2 days onsite) Job Summary We are seeking a Software Developer with at least 4 years of professional experience working with .NET Core, SQL, and Angular to join our development team. This role will be responsible for building new applications and features, maintaining and enhancing existing systems, developing and supporting REST APIs, and working extensively with SQL code, stored procedures, and database-driven business logic. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full stack, with strong backend and database skills, and is able to troubleshoot issues across application, API, and SQL layers. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain applications and services using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core Build and enhance front-end functionality using Angular Design, build, consume, and maintain REST APIs for internal and external integrations Write, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and other database objects Support and enhance existing applications, including legacy or database-heavy systems Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Debug and resolve issues across application code, APIs, and SQL/database layers Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing system improvements Collaborate with other developers, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable software solutions Help improve application performance, code quality, and maintainability Required Qualifications MUST be bilingual in Spanish and English 4+ years of professional software development experience 2+ years of experience with SQL Server – this is key! 2+ years of experience with C# 2+ years of experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core 2+ years of experience with Angular Experience developing and consuming REST APIs Experience maintaining and troubleshooting existing SQL code, including complex queries and stored procedures Strong understanding of C#, object-oriented programming, and software design principles Experience debugging production issues and identifying root causes Familiarity with source control systems such as Git and TFS Preferred Qualifications Experience with Entity Framework / EF Core Experience working with legacy systems and modernizing or integrating them with newer applications Experience optimizing SQL performance, query tuning, and database troubleshooting Familiarity with Azure, IIS, CI/CD pipelines, or other deployment tooling Experience with unit testing and automated testing practices What We’re Looking For A developer who is comfortable moving between application code, APIs, and SQL Someone who can maintain and improve existing systems, not just build greenfield features Someone who can work with database-heavy business logic and is comfortable reading, troubleshooting, and updating SQL code A problem solver who can identify issues across multiple layers of an application stack Show more How do you like the content of this job?
