Associate Producer / Producer at Nex
Location: Hong Kong
Type: Full time
Nex is looking for an Associate Producer/ Producer based in Asia, to drive our second-party developed game projects on Playground. This is a role as we expand beyond our internal development capacity and an opportunity to utilize your expertise not only working with external developers, but licensed IP partners as well.
The Producer will also partner with the internal game development teams, QA, and the GTM team to build consensus, green light, and launch experiences.
What You’ll Do
Handle the entire production pipeline for externally developed experiences, including the developer pitch and selection, green light, project plan and milestones, and launch readiness process.
Build out production frameworks and implement tracking mechanisms to lead production pipeline from pre-green light milestones through GTM and sustain.
Foster collaborative and problem-solving approach with development teams to drive bar-raising games and experiences.
Construct feedback loop for IP holders and key internal stakeholders to enhance overall game quality while upholding the high standards across gameplay, visuals, branding, and design.
Plan and manage for success with Live Operations, including developing update plans, quality of life improvements, and major content releases.
Utilize data-driven insights to inform decisions and improve key performance indicators towards the business goals.
Communicate, collaborate and work effectively with partner teams, vendors and other groups within the organization.
Manage 3P developer onboarding process, including Discord management through developer documentation.
Conduct regular, structured playthroughs and build reviews throughout the development cycle — providing clear, actionable, and timely feedback to external developers on gameplay, design, art, performance, and overall product direction.
Ensure that each externally developed title is continuously tracking toward the game Nex envisioned — not just technically complete, but fun, polished, and right for the Nex Playground audience — and course-correcting early when it is not.
