Technical Recruiter (Contract) at Maven Clinic
Maven is looking for a Technical Recruiter to support our investment in growing our Engineering teams. This full-cycle recruiting role is responsible for delivering an exceptional candidate experience end to end; sourcing to build strong pipelines of candidates, partnering with candidates and hiring managers throughout and negotiating/closing offers. This person will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. To be successful, you bring a collaborative mindset, strong domain expertise, and a desire to support a growth stage start-up through scale. This role reports to the Senior Manager, PED Recruiting.
As a Technical Recruiter, you will:
Manage full cycle recruiting for multiple, sometimes complex, searches.
Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage the best talent to Maven
Collaborate with Engineering Leadership to continuously improve recruiting processes and ensure goals are met.
Manage talent pipelines effectively and proactively use data to provide updates to hiring teams and recruiting leadership.
Own and drive offers with candidates - extending offers, negotiations, closing candidates.
We’re looking for you to bring:
4+ years of technical recruiting experience in Software Engineering (front end, mobile, web experience is a plus!)
Experience working in a startup environment.
Strong skills in sourcing and engaging passive talent, particularly senior engineering talent.
A strong ability to provide an exceptional candidate experience.
Experience building relationships with engineering leadership, with ability to influence and drive towards goals.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, and work independently.
Strong, clear verbal and written communication
Resourceful, highly organized self-starter with a bias towards action and efficiency.
This is a 6 month contract role with a budgeted hourly range of $60 - $80. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. Our teams primarily operate from the New York Metropolitan area, NY, and remotely via San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C. For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). For those based in San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C., we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to attend quarterly Work Together Days within these cities.
