UI/UX Product Designer at Valerie
About this Role
We're looking for a *UI/UX Product Designer** to shape the experience of Valerie, our AI-powered platform built to help entrepreneurs grow and scale their businesses. This isn't a marketing design role, and it isn't about making screens look good.*
You'll design the way people interact with AI, navigate complex workflows, and make important business decisions. From AI copilots and data-heavy dashboards to automation tools and multi-step workflows, you'll help turn complexity into experiences that feel intuitive.

You have experience designing SaaS or B2B products with complex workflows, data, or multiple user types.

You're comfortable prototyping ideas quickly, testing them, and refining them based on feedback.
You know how to build scalable design systems instead of designing every screen from scratch.

You actively use AI tools to explore ideas, speed up your workflow, and improve the quality of your work.
You have strong product instincts and enjoy contributing ideas—not just designing someone else's vision.
Requirements
4–6 years of experience designing digital products that have shipped to real users.
Strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, UX, interaction design, and visual design.
Experience designing SaaS, B2B, or AI-powered products.
Strong proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and frontend technologies such as React.
Understanding of APIs, loading states, empty states, and asynchronous user flows.
Experience building or contributing to design systems.
Excellent communication skills and experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams.
Bonus Points
Experience designing AI-native products, copilots, chat interfaces, or automation workflows.
Experience contributing directly to frontend implementation using React or Next.js.
Experience working in an early-stage startup where products evolve quickly.
Strong understanding of information architecture and complex enterprise workflows.
A portfolio that demonstrates measurable product or business impact—not just polished visuals.
