Customer Success & Account Executive - Internship at Sagepilot AI
Role Overview:
We're looking for a sharp, client-obsessed Customer Success & Account Executive intern to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be the face of Sagepilot for our clients - helping them onboard, adopt, and expand their use of our AI employee platform. You'll work alongside founders and operators from leading D2C brands, ensuring they get measurable ROI from day one. This is an ideal role for someone who loves being at the intersection of technology, business, and human relationships. High performers will be considered for full-time conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end onboarding journey for new clients - from kickoff to first value milestone
Build trusted advisor relationships with founders, CX leads, and marketing teams at client companies
Proactively monitor client health, usage metrics, and engagement signals to drive retention and expansion
Coordinate with the AI Implementation team to ensure seamless technical setup and go-live
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and work with the sales team to execute them
Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs) to present ROI data, platform insights, and growth recommendations
Gather structured client feedback and translate it into product improvement inputs for the team
Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline hygiene, and account activity logs
Assist in building scalable playbooks, onboarding templates, and success documentation
Represent Sagepilot professionally in all client-facing communications - written, verbal, and in-person
Qualifications:
Fresh graduates or final-year students in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields
Strong academic record; prior internship or project experience in a client-facing or operations role preferred
Immediate availability for a full-time internship with minimal external commitments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
Genuine passion for technology, startups, and the AI space
Skills:
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities
Data-driven mindset - comfortable reading dashboards, tracking metrics, and drawing insights
Structured thinking and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio, or similar) is a plus
Ability to translate complex platform capabilities into clear business value for non-technical clients
Self-starter with high ownership mentality and a bias for action
Adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities
