Key Responsibilities
Test Execution: Run predefined test cases, scripts, and scenarios for new features and existing functionality.
Defect Management: Identify, log (e.g., in Jira), and track bugs, providing clear steps to reproduce.
Regression Testing: Re-test fixed issues and ensure new changes haven't broken old features.
Collaboration: Work with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and resolve issues.
Documentation: Help create and maintain test plans, scripts, and test data.
Environment Setup: Assist with configuring test environments and data.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing principles (functional, regression).
Familiarity with testing tools (Jira, TestRail) and basic automation tools (e.g., Selenium), with willingness to learn.
Excellent communication for reporting issues and collaborating with teams.
Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues.
