This individual works closely with business stakeholders, application owners, and fellow engineers to design scalable, modular, and secure integration solutions. The role requires expertise in automation platforms, scripting languages, and integration patterns, with a focus on system interoperability, documentation, and reusability.The ideal candidate has experience building integrations across cloud and on-premises systems using modern low-code, event-driven, and API-based technologies. This role reports to the IT Director and contributes to the broader digital transformation strategy of the organization.What You Will Be Doing:Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable integration solutions.Design, build, and maintain integrations using platforms such as Azure Logic Apps, Boomi or n8n.Develop and maintain custom scripts and workflows to automate business processes.Build and maintain integrations with Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), including custom automation and workflow enhancements.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration requirements, assess feasibility, and recommend solution architectures.Create and maintain clear, version-controlled documentation for all integrations and automations.Establish and evangelize best practices for integration development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.Use GitHub or GitLab for source control, versioning, and collaboration with the broader engineering team.Participate in integration testing and validation, and provide ongoing support for live systems.Responsibilities:Define and maintain integration patterns, standards, and reusable components.Ensure integrations are secure, reliable, performant, and compliant with company policies.Analyze and resolve integration failures, errors, and performance issues.Maintain a robust, scalable integration architecture that enables future enhancements.Generate and maintain technical diagrams, flowcharts, and metadata models of integration systems.Monitor, test, and continuously improve system reliability, logging, and alerting for integrations.Serve as a subject matter expert for integration platforms and provide guidance to development and infrastructure teams.Stay current on industry trends, tool capabilities, and best practices in system integration and automation.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred or 4+ years of professional experience in integration, automation, or software engineering roles.Experience integrations and automations with Atlassian Jira, NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, Workday,and Anaplan.Proficiency with multiple integration platforms, such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Boomi, n8n, and Jira ScriptRunner.Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, and/or JavaScript.Experience integrating systems via REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.Hands-on experience with GitLab or GitHub for source control and collaboration.Strong documentation discipline and experience producing solution design and runbooks.Familiarity with secure authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, API tokens) and access control.Role: Technical Lead,Industry Type: IT Services & Consulting,Department: Engineering - Software & QA,Employment Type: Full Time, PermanentRole Category: Software DevelopmentEducationUG: Any Graduate
