ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager, Commercial Operations is the operational quarterback on Zerigo’s go-to-market team — owning the processes and cross-functional coordination that take a prospective client from signed contract through successful launch and ongoing account health. This person ensures new clients onboard smoothly, that channel leaders and customer success partners are equipped to run high-quality client meetings, and that deal-close workflows run efficiently across teams.
This role rewards someone who is highly organized, thrives in cross-functional environments, and takes pride in building processes that scale. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable running an implementation kickoff and presenting a business review framework to leadership — and moves with urgency in a startup environment where priorities shift and initiative is rewarded.
CORE DELIVERABLES
Implementation & Client Onboarding
Develop and manage comprehensive implementation plans for new clients, coordinating across clinical, operations, analytics, and client-facing teams to meet launch milestones.
Serve as the primary operational point of contact during implementation, proactively addressing issues and escalating as needed to ensure a smooth go-live.
Build and continuously improve implementation playbooks and onboarding processes that scale as Zerigo’s client portfolio grows.
Account Management Enablement
Produce standard content and data packages for monthly and quarterly client business reviews, enabling channel leaders and customer success managers to run high-quality, insight-driven client meetings.
Monitor account performance across the portfolio — tracking utilization, member engagement, and contract KPIs — and surface actionable insights to the team.
Gather and synthesize client feedback to inform product improvements and operational enhancements, closing the loop with internal stakeholders.
Support channel leaders and customer success managers with ad hoc materials and coordination throughout the account lifecycle.
Deal Operations & Contract Management
Own the contract and agreement process for new business — coordinating redlines, tracking contract status, and maintaining documentation through to execution.
Lead cross-functional deal team approval workflows, ensuring alignment across legal, finance, clinical, and operations stakeholders prior to deal close.
Partner with the Analyst, Commercial Operations to ensure deal and account data is accurately reflected in Salesforce throughout the client lifecycle.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of professional experience in a client success, implementation, project management, or go-to-market operations role, preferably in healthcare or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder implementation projects from kickoff through launch.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience producing polished client-facing content including business reviews, presentation decks, and status reports.
Experience supporting contract management processes and coordinating cross-functional approvals.
Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and comfort with tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Dedication to learning and using AI to enhance insights and storytelling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.
Proactive, self-directed work style with a track record of operating effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Ideal Background
Backgrounds in healthcare consulting, client success, or implementation roles at digital health companies translate especially well to this position. What matters most is a track record of successfully launching complex accounts, a bias toward action, and the ability to keep cross-functional teams aligned and on track under tight timelines.
Candidates with deep project management experience will stand out through their ability to organize complex processes, produce high-quality client-facing materials, and build scalable playbooks that don’t need to be rebuilt from scratch each time.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Early-stage startup experience.
Experience working in a digital health or healthcare services company.
Familiarity with health plan, employer, or health system implementation and account management processes.
Experience with Salesforce.
Experience producing board- or executive-level presentation materials.
