Job Description
Codes software applications & adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers. Must have strong OO programming skills, strong communication skills and be a solid team player for a close knit Agile team
Qualifications
Must Have:
Hands on experience and understanding of modern java development (REST web services and no sql data store like cassandra/mongodb/couchebase, etc)
Experience with dependency injection framework (spring/guice), messaging technologies (mq/jms, sqs/sns) and test driven development (junit/testng/mock frameworks)
Hands on with at least one dynamic language other than Java, prefer Ruby or Python.
Comfortable with unix/os x development environment
Nice to have:
Work exp with other Amazon services like swf, ec2, s3, etc
Work exp with indexing frameworks like elastic search or solr
Additional Information
6 month contract position - must be local candidates onsite interview required.
