About This Role
We’re looking for an Operations RPA Engineer who can combine strong operational execution with process improvements.
In this role, you will be embedded in our operations team with hands-on exposure to the day-to-day work with financial advisors, custodians, and internal stakeholders. We expect you to identify opportunities to automate and improve our processes and implement the automation using low code tools, such as Zapier / Power Automate / Retool.
This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of operations, technology, and process design.
Responsibilities
Build, test, deploy, and maintain automation workflows using tools such as Zapier, Retool, Make, Power Automate, n8n, or similar platforms
Integrate operational systems through APIs, databases, and third-party platforms
Create dashboards, reporting tools, and operational infrastructure to improve visibility and decision-making
Leverage AI and agentic workflows to automate internal processes and improve operational efficiency
Create and maintain technical documentation, workflow diagrams, and implementation guides
Communicate with advisors and custodian partners to learn about stakeholder requirements and debug process issues
Manage new client account setup, documentation, and serve as a primary point of contact for operational inquiries
Identify manual and repetitive workflows and design automation solutions to improve efficiency and scalability
Must-Haves
Demonstrated problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience building automations using tools such as Zapier, Retool, Make, Power Automate, n8n, UiPath, or similar platforms
Experience working with APIs, SQL databases, and structured or unstructured data
Understanding of AI-powered workflows and agentic automation concepts
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Haves
Experience working with RIA custodians such as Charles Schwab, Pershing, Fidelity, or similar institutions
Experience supporting advisor, brokerage, wealth management, fintech, or RIA operations
Strong understanding of account opening, transfers, and operational workflows
Experience designing internal tools, dashboards, or reporting systems
Basic scripting experience in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
Experience evaluating, implementing, or managing AI tools in business operations
