Laravel Developer at Mayura Consultancy Services
About the role:
We're looking for a Laravel Developer who can own both the back-end and the front-end of what they build. You'll work on real client projects — custom web applications for businesses across multiple industries — with a distributed team that values clean code, clear communication, and shipping things that work.
What you'll do:
Design and develop web applications using Laravel — clean architecture, maintainable code
Build responsive, interactive front-ends using modern JavaScript — you're comfortable owning the full stack
Develop and integrate REST APIs; ensure security, performance, and reliability
Write and optimise MySQL queries; design schemas that scale
Work with Git and contribute to code reviews — async-first, collaborative team
Debug, test, and take ownership of what you ship from dev through to production
What we're looking for:
Must have-
2+ years of hands-on Laravel development with shipped projects to show
Strong JavaScript skills — you write clean, modern JS and know your way around the DOM
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and building responsive interfaces
Working knowledge of MySQL and REST API design
Comfortable with Git and agile/sprint workflows
Can communicate clearly in a fully remote, async environment Good to have-
Experience with React or Vue.js
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
Exposure to microservices or API-first architecture
What success looks like in this role:
You're hands-on from day one: writing clean, well-structured PHP and Laravel code
Strong SQL fundamentals: queries written with clarity and purpose, not just to get results.
You integrate smoothly into client projects, communicate proactively with stakeholders and can translate a business requirement into a technical solution without needing it spelled out line by line.
You practice test-driven development because tests aren't an afterthought, they're part of how you think.
You're disciplined about time logging, async communication and keeping your work visible to the team without being chased.
Deadlines are taken seriously; blockers are raised early.
Over time, you grow into someone clients trust directly - not just a developer executing tickets, but someone who understands what the product needs to do and why.
How we hire:
1 Recruiter Screen — quick intro, role alignment, culture check, infrastructure readiness.
2 Technical Rounds — practical tasks
3 Final HR round — compensation, joining timeline, your questions answered
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Benefits:
Paid time off
Provident Fund
Work from home
