About the Role
Join Karan Kavach Pvt Ltd as a CSR Fundraising Consultant on a contract basis. In this role, you will act as an independent contractor, leveraging your network to connect with IT industries, government departments, corporations, NGOs, and other entities worldwide to secure Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds or equivalent social impact funding. Representing Karan Kavach, you will position our mission-driven services as impactful initiatives, focusing on crime prevention, rehabilitation, and community safety. This is an ideal opportunity for experienced professionals in business development, fundraising, or consulting who thrive in a performance-based environment. Responsibilities
Networking and Outreach: Identify and connect with key decision-makers in IT companies, government departments, multinational corporations, foundations, and other organizations with CSR or social impact mandates globally. Build relationships to pitch Karan Kavach’s services as aligned projects.
Pitching and Negotiation: Prepare and deliver customized proposals highlighting how funds can support Karan Kavach’s vision for a crime-free world, including app development, community programs, and rehabilitation initiatives. Negotiate terms to secure funding commitments.
Deal Closure: Facilitate the signing of agreements and ensure the smooth transfer of funds to Karan Kavach’s account. Focus on first-time deals with new partners.
Market Research: Analyze global CSR trends, budgets, and priorities across sectors. Track relevant regulatory requirements for corporate giving in different regions.
Reporting and Follow-Up: Provide regular updates on pipeline progress, deal status, and fund transfers. Collaborate with Karan Kavach’s leadership for any required documentation or compliance.
Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all activities adhere to legal and ethical standards for fundraising, avoiding any misrepresentation.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Social Work, International Relations, or a related field. Postgraduate degrees (e.g., MBA in Business Development or CSR Management) are a plus.
Experience: 2+ years in fundraising, business development, CSR consulting, grant writing, or sales, preferably with international exposure. Proven track record of securing funds or closing deals.
Skills: Strong networking and relationship-building abilities across cultures. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (multilingual capabilities a plus). Familiarity with global CSR frameworks and regulations. Proficiency in tools like LinkedIn for outreach, Google Workspace or Microsoft Office for proposals, and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) for tracking leads.
Preferred Background: Existing contacts in global IT firms, multinational corporations, government bodies, or philanthropic organizations. Passion for social impact, startups, and alignment with Karan Kavach’s crime-free vision. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a results-oriented role.
Other: Open to professionals from diverse backgrounds and regions. Skills and network are prioritized.
Interview Process
Round 1: Screening (Network and Experience): Assess your fundraising experience, global network strength, and understanding of CSR/social impact funding. Format: 30-minute video call or questionnaire.
Round 2: Skills Assessment: Submit a sample pitch or proposal for a hypothetical funding deal. Format: Take-home assignment + 45-minute discussion.
Round 3: Negotiation and Fit: Role-play a deal negotiation scenario and discuss alignment with Karan Kavach’s mission. Format: 1-hour video interview with CEO/CTO.
Round 4: Reference Check: Verify past deals or networks through references. Format: Quick call or email verification.
Round 5: CSR closure task, candidate must close one deal in 1 month out of 10-20 companies profiles.

CSR Fundamentals: Review global CSR guidelines (e.g., UN Sustainable Development Goals, EU CSR directives).
Fundraising Strategies: Resources on international grant writing and corporate philanthropy.

Compensation & Perks
