Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to create, test, and maintain computer programs and websites. In this role, you will leverage cutting-edge technologies to deliver critical business systems, optimize software functionality, and monitor application analytics. The ideal candidate will work end-to-end across projects, from initial code design to deployment and continuous maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-on Development: Write clean, scalable, and efficient code to build programs, applications, and websites.
Design & Innovation: Develop and design new product functionality for both greenfield (new) and brownfield (existing) BAU projects.
Critical Support: Provide maintenance and support for critical business systems, identifying and executing necessary software modifications.
Project Delivery: Ensure the successful end-to-end delivery of business-critical projects and products.
Proactive Problem Solving: Monitor system analytics efficiently and proactively escalate "hot issues" before they impact operations.
Strategic Input: Contribute valuable insights and strategic direction to the development and evolution of core business applications.
Technical Stack & Requirements
Proven Experience: Strong hands-on software development experience working across the full project lifecycle.
Backend Technologies: Proficiency in modern backend languages, specifically Java and Scala.
Frontend Technologies: Strong command of modern web development using JavaScript, React, and Angular.
Analytical Skills: Ability to monitor and analyze software metrics efficiently to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborative Mindset: Capable of managing critical system support while balancing strategic contributions to long-term projects.
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
