Account Executive at Pepper
The Role
As an Account Executive at Pepper, you’ll be at the forefront of our sales efforts, helping to bring our innovative solutions to foodservice distributors across North America. Your mission will be to acquire new customers, drive revenue growth, and establish long-term relationships with businesses that can benefit from Pepper’s industry-leading platform.
You’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to product demos, negotiation, and closing deals. This role is perfect for a high-energy, results-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to sell a transformative SaaS product.
This is a remote position open to candidates in the US and Canada.
What You'll Do
Drive New Business: Identify and engage potential customers through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-ups.
Own the Sales Cycle: Qualify leads, conduct product demonstrations, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
Consultative Selling: Develop a deep understanding of each prospect’s business challenges and demonstrate how Pepper’s platform solves their pain points.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Sales Engineers, and Customer Success to ensure a smooth sales process and handoff.
CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, and accounts in HubSpot.
Hit Sales Goals: Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quotas.
Sales Skills: Strong consultative sales background with experience managing complex deals and multiple stakeholders.
Quota Ownership: Experience carrying an annual quota more than $750K+ ARR, with deals averaging $30K+ ARR and sales cycles of 60-90+ days.
Industry Background: Food distribution experience is a plus but not required.
Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce) and outreach tools like Salesloft, Gong, etc.
Adaptability & Resilience: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment.
