Onspot Solutions is looking for a dynamic candidate that can handle dual-roles.
We are looking for a software tester and who can handle online support for the software solutions deployed at client locations.
Requirements for Software Support
Ability to manage concurrent tasks throughout a given work day
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
Knowledge and understanding of software development tools a plus;
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience;
Ability to travel preferred;
Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office;
Basic knowledge and understanding of database structures including fields, tables, views, database objects, etc;
Effective analytical ability, particularly in a technical environment;
Requirements for Software Testing
Design Test cases that are clear, concise, comprehensive and cover multiple scenarios
Analyze test results and relay details to the development teams
Discuss potential solutions for issues discovered during testing with software development teams
Run extensive regression testing to check the functionality of the software
Create QA report and bug list based on the outcome of QA test cycles.
Provide feedback to developers based on test outcomes.
Perform front end testing using automation, manual testing.
Required Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support professional / testing environment
Experience with software testing, support ticket management and tracking
Strong customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
Ability to participate in a support schedule, including after-hours and weekend support
Should be a team player possessing strong analytical as well as technical skills and should be an effective communicator.
Should have exposure to manual testing of web applications, mobile apps and desktop applications.
Working Hours / Shifts:
The working shift would be the 2nd and the night shift.
Working hours will include weekend's and public holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
