About the Role
Founding Recruiter — Prism
We're hiring a Founding Recruiter to join Prism, an AI-native recruiting platform, on the delivery side. You'd work on our most important client relationships, run the trickiest roles end-to-end, and work with us to build the playbook our team learns from as we scale.
About Prism
Prism is an AI-native recruiting platform. Recruiters use Prism the way developers use Cursor — the AI handles the grind (sourcing, outreach, screening, admin) so you can focus on the work that actually moves the needle: client conversations, candidate calls, closing.
Our book of contracts is growing fast across tech/engineering, finance/professional services, and generalist roles — we've already placed at hedge funds and landed offers from some of the fastest-growing startups. We're now scaling the team with sector specialists.
The role
This is a founding seat on the recruiter side of Prism. You'd:
Own roles end-to-end across our biggest contracts (tech, finance, generalist)
Build and own client relationships at the senior level
Develop the playbook for how we run a high-quality, high-velocity desk
Mentor junior recruiters as we hire them — player-coach is on the table if you want it, but not required
Be a power user of Prism itself, feeding product feedback directly into the team
We're looking for
5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience (agency, in-house, RPO, or executive search)
A track record of placements and senior client management
Strong written and verbal communication
Comfortable owning multiple roles in parallel and prioritising hard
Right to work in the UK
Bonus: experience in tech/engineering or finance recruiting · early-stage / startup exposure · existing client book · familiarity with AI recruiting tools (Prism, Gem, hireEZ, or similar) · multiple languages, especially European.
Compensation
£50-80k base, depending on experience
Performance commission on placements (10-20%)
Up to 0.5-1% equity in Prism
Location & type
London, hybrid. Open to remote for the right person. Full-time, permanent.
