Skills and Competencies 5+ years sales experience required Experience working with news or media solutions Understanding of Moody’s NewsEdge offerings and the business challenges faced by clients Strong knowledge of enterprise software solutions including customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning, procure to pay, and lead to cash systems Customer facing experience with confidence leading sales discussions and engaging with clients and internal stakeholders Sales mindset with a strong commercial drive to win new business opportunities Experience in technical sales of data and software as a service solutions, with exposure to complex sales cycles preferred Ability to analyze business processes and workflows to identify efficiency improvements Interest in or experience with Spark, SQL, and Python for application programming interface development is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage both technical and non technical audiences Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
