Our vision is simple: powerful equity research with speed, accuracy, and trust. Role overview We’re hiring a QA and Testing Intern to help us ship fast without breaking trust. You’ll design and run tests across web UI, APIs, and AI workflows, keep our releases clean, and make sure results are accurate and reproducible. What you will do Design test plans, write detailed test cases, and maintain a living regression suite. Execute manual tests across browsers and devices. Log clear, reproducible bugs with steps, actual vs expected, screenshots, and environment info. Validate data pipelines: SEC filing ingestion, call transcript parsing, footnote extraction, and memo generation. Test AI features for determinism, citation integrity, and guardrail behavior. Own API testing for reliability and error handling with Postman or similar. Create and manage test data sets, including synthetic filings and edge cases. Run smoke tests on every release. Track pass rates and flake. Collaborate with product and engineering to turn user stories into acceptance criteria. Start light performance and reliability checks for critical paths like upload, search, and memo export. Document everything: test cases, checklists, and known issues. Projects you may touch Red-flag detection accuracy checks based on Quality of Earnings and Financial Shenanigans criteria. “Reads every page” validation for long PDFs and multi-file uploads. Notebook export tests for formatting, citations, and audit-trail links. RAG pipeline tests for source grounding and hallucination avoidance. You are Detail-obsessed, structured, and relentless about reproduction steps. Comfortable writing crisp bug reports and asking precise questions. Curious about finance workflows or eager to learn quickly. Able to work independently and communicate updates on time. Nice to have Hands-on with any of: Playwright or Cypress, Postman, JMeter or Locust, Python for small scripts, SQL basics, MongoDB familiarity, GitHub Issues and Actions. Experience testing AI features, prompts, or evaluation harnesses. Basic understanding of HTTP, status codes, and API schemas.
