Role Overview:
As the Director of Engineering, you will lead Ivy’s technology vision, strategy, and execution for our SaaS product suite. You will manage multiple engineering teams, ensure delivery excellence, foster a culture of innovation, and partner closely with Product, Architecture, and Customer Success leaders to build scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and drive the engineering strategy, roadmap, and delivery aligned with business goals.
Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams across multiple product lines.
Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of Ivy’s SaaS platforms.
Collaborate with Product Management and Architecture to translate product vision into technical execution.
Implement best practices in software development, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure/AWS).
Establish and monitor KPIs for engineering excellence – quality, velocity, and customer impact.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement through adoption of new technologies and agile methodologies.
Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and cross-functional project dependencies.
Champion engineering culture, employee engagement, and talent development.
Skills/Requirements:
15–20 years of total experience with at least 5 years in engineering leadership roles.
Proven track record in building and scaling SaaS / Enterprise Software products.
Strong background in Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS), Microservices Architecture, and Full Stack Technologies (.NET / Java, Javascript, React / Angular).
Deep understanding of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience managing distributed teams and complex product portfolios.
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
