Job Description
We are looking for a software developer to help us design, develop, and support our client's market data platform. We are a small team of talented developers working on all aspects of the system including client libraries in many different languages, 0MQ-based middleware, web applications, and Hadoop storage and analysis.
Experience with dynamic languages such as Python or Perl as well as static languages like C, Java or Go.
Network and system administration skills are a big plus.
Proficiency with Linux development tools (our client primarily develops on Linux and our client's internal platform).
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
Experience using GitHub and contributing to open‑source projects.
Referrals to projects maintained, code published on the Internet, blogs, papers, Stack Overflow questions, mailing list contributions, etc., are appreciated.
Technology we use include Linux, 0MQ, Tornado, Docker, Hadoop/HDFS, Kafka, autotools, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Python, C, Golang, Elasticsearch.
