About the role:The Workday Financials Systems Analyst is responsible for the ownership, configuration, and continuous improvement of Blackbaud’s financial and procurement systems, primarily Workday. This role partners closely with Procurement, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury teams to enable efficient, compliant, and scalable Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes through strong system design, disciplined delivery, and effective operational support.Through strong partnerships and collaboration, you will help uncover what’s possible in the system and driving automation across the procurement lifecycle, while ensuring alignment with the organization’s compliance, audit and operational standards.What you'll do: System Configuration and DeliveryResponsible for configuring Workday functionality supporting Procure to Pay, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Governance, Expense, AP, and related financial integrationsLead system design for purchasing, supplier lifecycle, expense and payment workflowsPartner with Accounting and Tax to ensure appropriate sales and use tax configuration and compliance within procurement and AP processesCollaborating with internal customers to define deployment expectations and ensure consistency with strategic direction and map opportunities to improve workflowsTranslate business needs into epics, features, and user stories through backlog refinement and prioritizationPlan and execute Workday release management, including testing strategies and deployment coordinationDrive continuous improvement by leveraging new Workday capabilities and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and user experienceOperational Support & Process ImprovementsProvide support via ServiceNow, including troubleshooting and resolution of complex issuesDefine deployment expectations and support consistent adoption of system changesEnsure minimal business disruption through timely issue resolution and clear communicationMaintain data accuracy and integrity through defined data maintenance processes and auditsDevelop and maintain process documentation, job aids and work instructionsSupport audit and compliance requirements through well documented, repeatable processesWhat you'll bring:Knowledge of Procure to Pay, Strategic Sourcing, and Supplier GovernanceExperience in Workday Financial systems technical support roleStrong analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detailAbility to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable plansProven collaboration skills and ability to handle sensitive information with discretionContinual learner who stays abreast of current trends and practicesAbility to learn and support additional Financial systems and workflows as neededStrong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively organize and communicateRoot cause analysis and complex problem-solving skillsSelf-starter mindset with a desire to identify optimal solutions and share learningsStay up to date on everything Blackbaud, follow us on Linkedin, X, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Blackbaud powers social impact through purpose‑driven technology and responsible AI.
