Sales Development Representative at ZenTrades

Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals who are passionate about sales, eager to learn, and hungry to build a career in B2B SaaS. You will work closely with senior SDRs and the sales leadership team to support pipeline generation, client outreach, and lead qualification—gaining hands-on experience across the full sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead Generation Support: Assist in identifying potential prospects through research, LinkedIn, and targeted outreach campaigns.
Outreach Execution: Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages to generate interest and qualify leads for senior SDRs.
Pipeline Assistance: Help maintain and update the sales pipeline by logging activities and lead statuses in the CRM.
Learning the Sales Cycle: Shadow senior SDRs and account executives to understand the full sales process—from prospecting to closing.
Day-to-Day Duties:
Make outbound calls and send emails and LinkedIn messages to potential clients under the guidance of senior team members.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria and hand off to senior SDRs or AEs.
Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand prospect needs and pain points.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions in the CRM.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and sales reviews to continuously improve performance.
Meet weekly and monthly outreach targets and contribute to overall team pipeline goals.
Skills and Qualifications
Required:
0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role (internships count).
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and confident demeanor.
Genuine interest in sales and a desire to build a career in B2B SaaS.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle rejection positively and maintain a resilient, solutions-oriented mindset.
Basic familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) or willingness to learn quickly.
Good organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively across multiple tasks.
Nice to Have:
Prior internship or project experience in a sales or marketing environment.
Exposure to B2B or SaaS products and understanding of enterprise sales concepts.
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools.
