About the role Job Overview We are seeking a driven and experienced Product Design Contractor to join our lean design team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of hands-on experience in product design, specifically in native mobile experiences, with a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to lead complex projects end-to-end. They have a strong design intuition, are able to execute at a high level on a multidisciplinary design/engineering team, and have a deep understanding of systems and strategy. Experience in the fintech industry is preferred. This contract will be for 10 - 20 hours per week. There may be opportunities for full-time employment upon contract completion. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with design and leadership to map out and develop elegant, world-class experiences Execute product initiatives end-to-end Own your Figma documentation as a source of truth for product development and execution, including complex state management, information architecture, and user flows Optimize and iterate on complex user experiences, including key conversion and growth funnels in-app Advocate for user wellness, transparency, and delight Contribute to our growing design system on a regular basis, leveraging advanced Figma functionalities that allow us to maintain consistency and speed in product development cycles Discern when to apply pixel-perfect detail, and when to make sketches and prototypes to expand discussions Prioritize and self-manage tasks, communicating timelines effectively Technology Our backend is built with Node.js/Typescript and our frontend is written with Flutter/Dart.
