Roles and Responsibilities:
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated AWS Full Stack Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in designing and developing scalable web applications using modern JavaScript technologies and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in React.js, Node.js BFF architecture, RESTful API development, PostgreSQL database management, and AWS Cognito-based authentication solutions.
The candidate will work closely with Business Analysts, architects, UI/UX teams, and backend engineers to build secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud-native applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications using React.js and Node.js.
Develop Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services using Node.js to support frontend applications.
Build and consume RESTful APIs with proper authentication, authorization, and error handling.
Develop responsive and reusable UI components using React.js best practices.
Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
Implement secure authentication and user management using AWS Cognito.
Deploy and maintain applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design sessions.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and CI/CD practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Frontend
Strong hands-on experience in React.js
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
Experience with state management libraries such as Redux/Context API
Experience in responsive UI development
Backend
Strong expertise in Node.js
Experience developing Node.js BFF (Backend for Frontend) services
Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development
Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms
Database
Strong experience with PostgreSQL
Experience in writing optimized SQL queries
Understanding of database design and performance tuning
AWS & Cloud
Experience working with AWS services
Hands-on experience with AWS Cognito for authentication and identity management
Exposure to AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, or CloudWatch is preferred
Understanding of cloud-native application architecture
Additional Skills
Experience with Git and version control systems
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience working in product engineering or digital transformation projects
Exposure to microservices architecture
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker is a plus
