THE ROLE
This is the first dedicated operations hire at Coval. You'll own business operations, partnerships, and go-to-market support at a company that's scaling very fast and needs someone to make the business side run as well as the engineering side.
What this looks like:
• Business operations. Procurement, legal coordination, vendor management, and the operational infrastructure that keeps a growing company running smoothly.
• Strategic partnerships. Defining what partnerships with key players look like: reseller agreements, distribution deals, co-selling motions. This is part growth, part traditional biz ops.
• Sales support and events. Running sales dinners, supporting the go-to-market motion, and helping shape events and thought leadership as we build the brand.
• Pricing and packaging strategy. Working closely with sales and product to figure out how we price, package, and distribute. A lot of early work will be here — getting this right is critical.
• Growth operations. You'll sit at the intersection of sales, product, and partnerships, making sure the operational side of growth doesn't become a bottleneck.
This is not a back-office role. You'll start broad and as the company scales, you'll help define what the operations function becomes and who we hire into it.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• You've done biz ops or growth ops at a high-growth startup and you know what it looks like when a company hits the Series A inflection point.
• You're comfortable with ambiguity. The priorities will shift fast, and you'll need to shift with them.
• You want to be close to the product and the customers. You'll sit with engineers and salespeople, and you'll understand what they're building and selling.
• You have good judgment about where to be precise (legal, contracts) and where to move fast (partnerships, events, pricing experiments).
• You're a strong communicator and relationship builder. Partnerships and sales support require someone who can represent Coval externally with credibility.
• You're excited about AI and want to use it daily. We don't do repetitive work here — we automate it.
