General Manager, New Ventures at Maven Clinic
Maven is launching a new venture, focused on the consumer health market. We are looking for a General Manager, New Ventures to help launch and scale this business from the ground up.
This is a true GM role with end-to-end ownership of strategy, execution, and performance. You will be accountable for the consumer P&L and responsible for translating Maven’s clinical excellence and trusted brand into a scalable, high-impact consumer offering. Reporting directly to the founder / CEO and operating within Maven’s broader platform, you will lead across product, marketing, growth and operations, and work closely with executive and functional leaders.
As the General Manager, New Ventures at Maven, you will:
Launch and scale Maven's new venture
Own the end-to-end launch and scale of Maven’s consumer business
Build and manage the consumer P&L, including forecasting, unit economics, and contribution margin.
Own the consumer conversion funnel
Design, optimize, and continuously improve the full consumer journey: acquisition, onboarding, clinical intake, conversion, engagement, and retention.
Establish clear metrics, dashboards, and operating rhythms to track funnel performance and cohort behavior.
Drive rapid experimentation while maintaining disciplined decision-making grounded in data and clinical integrity.
Lead product and marketing outcomes
Serve as the business owner for consumer product and marketing, setting priorities and outcomes in partnership with centralized teams.
Define the consumer product roadmap alongside Product, Engineering, and Clinical leaders to ensure speed, focus, and ROI.
Shape positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy grounded in consumer insight and trust.
Drive growth and go-to-market execution
Own consumer acquisition strategy across paid, owned, and partner channels.
Identify, test, and scale new growth levers including pricing, bundles, lifecycle marketing, referrals, and employer adjacencies.
Balance short-term growth with long-term brand equity and retention.
Ensure operational and clinical excellence
Partner with Clinical, Legal, Operations, and Compliance to ensure consumer offerings are safe, compliant, and operationally sound.
Anticipate scaling challenges — including clinical capacity, supply, and support — and proactively solve them.
Deliver a high-quality, trust-building consumer experience consistent with Maven’s standards.
Build and lead a high-performing team
Lead a consumer product and marketing team across growth, product, and, to start, operations.
Create clarity, momentum, and accountability in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
Act as a strong cross-functional leader across Maven’s executive team.
We’re looking for you to bring:
8-10+ years of experience in consumer health, digital health, or consumer technology, with direct experience either as a founder or in product management.
Prior experience launching and scaling a new consumer product or business with ownership over growth and outcomes, ideally in healthcare or another regulated environment.
Strong GM instincts, including comfort owning a P&L and making tradeoffs with accountability for results.
Deep experience with consumer funnels, growth metrics, experimentation, and unit economics.
Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization.
High bar for product quality, user experience, and brand integrity.
Founder mindset: strategic, fast, takes end-to-end ownership, but highly execution-oriented.
The base salary range for this role is $260,000 - $320,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
This role requires active work authorization in the US.
