Senior AI Engineer (Full-Stack) at The Hog (F25) $60K - $90K AI Demand Gen for Companies BR / SP, BR / State of São Paulo, BR / AR / Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, AR / CL / CO / Remote (BR; SP, BR; State of São Paulo, BR; AR; Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, AR; CL; CO) Contract US citizenship/visa not required 6+ years About The Hog The Hog is building the AI-native Go-To-Market Operating System. We're eliminating the manual research burden that slows down sales and marketing teams. Our AI agent monitors industries, competitors, and trends 24/7, then automatically surfaces prioritized opportunities with ready-to-execute multi-channel campaign strategies. The problem: B2B teams use several disconnected tools for competitive intelligence, market research, campaign planning, and execution. This fragmentation makes it nearly impossible to develop holistic GTM strategies quickly or connect insights to action. Our solution: An AI-powered operating system that consolidates GTM intelligence and strategy into one platform. We help small teams compete with larger organizations by multiplying their impact through intelligent automation. Early traction: 100 paying customers and counting. Why join: You'll work with a world-class team that has built frontier products at both startups and enterprises. Our team has deep GTM expertise, having scaled a company from $900K to $7M ARR in under 3 months. Our CTO has previously led AI evals for enterprise and startups, with customers at their former employer claiming the agents he developed were better than Glean's agents (unicorn competitor). If you want to work on AI that directly impacts revenue and helps businesses punch above their weight, this is it. About the role Skills: Design systems, Next.js, Tailwind, Distributed Systems, Amazon Web Services (AWS) We are hiring a Senior AI Engineer to help build the core systems behind The Hog, an AI-native platform that automates growth, prospecting, and revenue generation for B2B companies. This is a senior, hands-on role. You will design and build production-grade AI systems end to end, work directly with customers, and own large parts of the technical surface area. You should enjoy ambiguous problems, heavy systems work, and talking to users as much as writing code. This role is ideal for someone who wants real ownership, high impact, and proximity to customers without the title baggage. What you will do Design and build AI-driven systems that run continuously in production Own backend and full-stack features from idea to deployment Build and maintain reliable async systems (jobs, queues, workflows, retries, failure handling) Work directly with customers to understand problems, debug issues, and ship improvements quickly Design clean service boundaries and APIs across a growing system Help set technical direction, patterns, and quality bars as the team scales Operate and improve production systems (observability, reliability, performance) What we are looking for Available for full-time hours Be able to work during PST (Pacific Time Zone) Strong systems engineer with deep backend experience Comfortable across the stack (Node, TypeScript, Next.js) Customer-obsessed and opinionated about developer and user experience Enjoys ambiguity and building from first principles Able to reason about scale, failure modes, and long-running processes Communicates clearly with both engineers and customers Experience At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience Experience shipping and owning production systems end to end Experience working closely with customers is a big plus Startup experience is a plus but not required Technical background (you should have strong experience in at least one of these) Distributed job / workflow systems such as Temporal, Trigger.dev, DBOS, or Airflow Queuing systems such as BullMQ or similar Heavy async systems, background processing, retries, idempotency Service-oriented or event-driven architectures CI/CD and production operations LLM-powered systems and AI-driven products Tech stack (today) TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js Queues, workflows, and background workers Postgres and modern data tooling LLMs and AI agents in production Why this role You will work on real systems used by real customers You will have outsized ownership and influence on the product You will help define how AI-native companies are built Small team, high trust, high bar If you are a senior engineer who enjoys building heavy systems, talking to customers, and owning real outcomes, we would love to talk. Technology Tech Stack Frontend: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Radix UI Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL), Clerk.dev (auth), Trigger.dev v4 (background jobs), Vercel AI SDK AI/ML: Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, OpenAI Data Pipeline: Web scraping, third-party data APIs Infrastructure: PostHog (analytics), Sentry (error tracking), Stripe (billing) Hard Problems We're Solving High-Volume Postgres Our product can generate millions of Postgres records within just a few days of usage. We’re designing schemas, indexes, and query patterns to keep performance fast and stable under this growth. LLM-First Product Surface We’re building end-to-end flows around tool-calling LLMs, background jobs, and external data so users get concrete GTM recommendations instead of raw model outputs.
