About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Manager who has actually shipped fintech products in India - not just written specs.
This role is for someone who understands the real world complexity of Indian markets: compliance constraints, broker integrations, unreliable infrastructure, and demanding users. You should be comfortable operating in ambiguity and making fast, high stakes decisions.
At AlgoTest, product is not documentation heavy - it’s execution heavy. Writing PRDs is a small part of the job; driving clarity, alignment, and shipping outcomes is the core.

What You’ll Do
1. Deeply Understand Users
* Talk to traders, analyze behavior, identify pain points
* Work with design to build intuitive UX
* Iterate fast based on real usage and user's feedback, not assumptions
2. Own the Core Product
* Drive the roadmap for AlgoTest’s core platform (backtesting, execution, broker integrations)
* Identify what matters and ruthlessly prioritize
3. Ship Fast, Ship Right
* Work closely with engineering, design, QA, and ops to take features from idea → production
* Break down ambiguity into clear execution plans
* Ensure high-quality releases despite speed and deadlines
4. Make Trade offs That Matter
* Balance compliance, user experience, and business goals
* Navigate constraints of brokers, APIs, and Indian market infra
* Take calls with incomplete information
5. Be Responsible for Outcomes
* Define and track key product metrics (activation, retention, monetisation, stickiness)
* Continuously optimize based on data and user feedback

* Ability to operate with high ownership and low hand-holding
* Excellent communication - you can drive clarity across teams, not just write docs
* Based in Delhi NCR or willing to relocate (onsite role)
Nice to Haves
* Experience at a 0→1 or 1→10 startup
* Understanding of Futures & Options trading
* Prior trading experience (not mandatory, but useful)
