We are looking for a Social Media Manager Intern to help grow our presence across Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and X (Twitter), and to support community engagement. This role is perfect for someone who loves fitness, nutrition, and digital media, and wants to gain hands-on experience in social growth, content creation, and audience building.
Role Overview
You’ll be responsible for managing and expanding GoodLife’s social media presence and online community. You’ll create, schedule, and repurpose content across multiple platforms, interact with followers, and help turn social engagement into brand awareness, newsletter signups, and digital product sales.
You’ll also play a key role in building the GoodLife community by engaging with audiences, starting conversations, and fostering loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Create and schedule posts across Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and X (Twitter).
Repurpose long-form content (blogs, YouTube videos, newsletters) into bite-sized social posts (carousels, reels, story slides, pins, tweets).
Research trending hashtags, audio, and formats to boost reach and engagement.
Maintain a consistent posting schedule aligned with the content calendar.
Track and report basic performance metrics (likes, saves, shares, comments, growth).
Community Engagement
Respond to comments, DMs, and community questions with a helpful and positive tone.
Engage with followers and relevant accounts to build relationships.
Help manage polls, quizzes, and interactive posts to encourage participation.
Support audience growth by driving engagement towards newsletter signups and lead magnets.
Spot opportunities to connect with micro-influencers or fitness/nutrition communities.

Strong writing and communication skills.
Creative eye for design (experience with Canva or similar tools preferred).
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Passionate about fitness, nutrition, and healthy living (big advantage).

Commitment: 8–30 hours per week, flexible around your schedule.
