The Role
You'll be one of the first engineers, shipping across the entire stack: drawing intake and rendering, AI-powered element detection and autocomplete, real-time collaborative editing, schedule interpretation, and exports into estimators' bidding workflows. You'll work directly with customers and see your code run on real bids within days of shipping.
What You'll Do
Own features end-to-end: design, build, ship, and iterate based on direct customer feedback
Build AI systems that read construction drawings, schedules, details, and plan views; and turn them into takeoff quantities
Develop real-time collaborative tooling: multiplayer editing, version history, cloud workspaces
Work on geometry-heavy problems: scale detection, pattern-matching footings, auto-completing curb runs and slab boundaries
Shape engineering culture, architecture, and hiring as the team grows
What We're Looking For
Strong generalist with production experience in Python and TypeScript
Comfortable owning ambiguous problems from idea to deployed feature
Bias toward shipping fast and iterating with users
Bonus: experience with LLMs/computer vision, canvas/geometry rendering, or construction tech
