What You'll Do
Docusign is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Notary team to build and operate sophisticated solutions that address global business needs. We are looking for individuals with a broad skill set who are eager to craft innovative solutions at scale while ensuring world-class reliability and security. As a Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, Agile engineering team, contributing to software development. You will collaborate with remote teams in a multicultural environment and help your colleagues excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Your role includes brainstorming and implementing new solutions, as well as modeling engineering best practices.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering.
Responsibility
Develop high-quality, maintainable code in React, C#, .NET, or other object-oriented languages ensure readability and ease of testing throughout
Identify and escalate potential risks that may jeopardize delivery timelines and commitments
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring code quality, readability, and maintainability throughout
Partner with Product Management and engineering peers to define design requirements and provide accurate development estimates
Collaborate across Product and Design functions to architect and build scalable, secure features
Identify and implement workflow enhancements to drive continuous improvements in team productivity and operational efficiency
Maintain expertise in emerging development best practices and proactively share knowledge with the broader team
Engage in Agile development practices, including Scrum, code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration and deployment
Job Designation
Hybrid:
Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What You Bring
Basic
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of software engineering experience
Expertise in full-stack development, particularly with C#
Proficiency in JavaScript and React.js
Experience with both NoSQL and SQL databases
Familiarity with Docker or similar containerization technologies
Proficient in using Git or other version control systems
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Preferred
Strong interest in architecting large-scale, highly available, and fault-tolerant applications with world-class reliability
Proficiency in working with complex algorithms and data structures, alongside a commitment to production troubleshooting
Proven experience or familiarity with Agile development methodologies and environments
Familiarity with modern continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on cross-functional collaboration
Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and a results-oriented mindset
Proficient in utilizing the Google Workspace suite for professional productivity
Intellectual curiosity and the agility to master emerging technologies and tool sets
