Software Developer (Integrations) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with strong expertise in Core PHP and API development to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building RESTful APIs, integrating third-party systems, and working with databases in a fast-paced development environment. Experience Skill Set 7 12 years of experience in software development. Experience with PHP frameworks such as CakePHP, Laravel, or CodeIgniter. Knowledge of microservices architecture. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRM systems, and external services. Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications. Collaborate with frontend developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions. Create and maintain API documentation and technical specifications. Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, and API tokens. Optimize application and API performance through code improvements and database tuning. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and integration issues. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards. Required Skills Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in PHP development. Strong proficiency in Core PHP. Hands-on experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs. Experience with MySQL database design, query optimization, and stored procedures. Knowledge of JSON, XML and API integrations. Experience with authentication methods such as JWT, OAuth 2.0, and API keys. Experience creating and integrating API s in current or previous roles.
