Lead, Districts Sales & Partnerships at Hope Street Group
LEAD, DISTRICT SALES & PARTNERSHIPS
Building trust, momentum, and revenue with school systems
Help us bring future-ready guidance to more classrooms.
Hope Street Group is a national nonprofit building the future of career guidance for students — powered by AI and grounded in real classrooms. Through our platform, students explore careers, test pathways, and begin planning what comes next.
As demand for our work grows, so does the need for thoughtful, effective sales into school districts. We are hiring a Lead District Sales & Partnerships role to help turn strong interest into lasting district relationships — and to do so in a way that respects how education systems actually work.
This is a sales role for someone who believes that the best deals are built on trust, listening, and long-term alignment — not pressure or volume.
⸻
THE ROLE
This role sits at the intersection of relationship-building, strategy, and execution. You will be responsible for moving districts from early interest to pilots to paid partnerships — while helping us learn, iterate, and refine our sales approach along the way.
You will be actively selling: leading calls, running follow-ups, navigating systems, and building momentum. At the same time, you’ll help shape how we sell — testing approaches, adapting to different district contexts, and feeding insight back into the organization.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the work and close to the customer — and who thrives in environments where the playbook is still being written.
⸻

Lead sales conversations with district leaders, CTE directors, and administrators
Build authentic rapport quickly and maintain relationships over time
Understand district needs, constraints, and priorities — and respond accordingly
Navigate Complex Sales Cycles

Balance persistence with professionalism and respect
Track what’s working, what’s not, and help refine our sales motion
Collaborate Internally
Work closely with Growth, Product, and Program teammates
Share field insights that inform messaging, materials, and product decisions
Help shape district-facing resources based on real conversations
⸻
WHO YOU ARE
A natural relationship-builder — people tend to trust you quickly
Highly empathetic, socially intuitive, and energized by conversation
Comfortable owning sales conversations end-to-end
Experienced in enterprise or complex sales, ideally in K–12 or edtech
Fluent in how school districts operate, while knowing each one is different
Comfortable working without a rigid script or perfect information
Motivated by work that blends revenue, impact, and long-term relationships
Bonus (not required, but highly preferred):
Direct experience selling into K–12 school districts
⸻
WHY THIS ROLE
You’ll help shape the sales motion of a growing national platform
You’ll sell something districts genuinely need — and are asking for
You’ll have real ownership, not just a quota
You’ll work closely with a small, thoughtful team building for long-term public impact
If this role sounds like how you naturally work — we’d love to talk.

OUR VALUES
Our work is grounded in four core values. These aren’t slogans — they guide how we build, collaborate, and make decisions every day.
Inclusivity
We believe every student—regardless of background, identity, or zipcode—deserves access to meaningful career exploration. We design experiences where students feel seen, supported, and empowered. Internally, we build a team culture where all voices matter and belonging is a priority, not a perk.
Inspiration
We want students to feel something when they use our quests: excitement, possibility, confidence, creativity. Inspiration begins with us. We approach our work with optimism, storytelling, and purpose, creating learning experiences that spark imagination and open doors.
Curiosity
We are learners first. We experiment, ask questions, seek feedback, and explore what’s possible with emerging technologies. Innovation is born from curiosity—and we aim to model that spirit for the students and teachers we serve.
Ambition
We carry a healthy, mission-driven ambition. We aim to create the highest-quality career learning experiences in the country. We take bold bets on behalf of students and educators while staying grounded in the realities of the classroom. Our ambition is paired with humility, accountability, and care.
