The Role
We are hiring an SDR dedicated to the orthopedic and spine vertical. You will own the top of the funnel for one of our highest-value market segments, building pipeline by reaching practice administrators, surgical group leaders, and C-suite decision-makers at orthopedic groups, spine centers, and ambulatory surgical centers.
This is a high-output role that rewards persistence. The people who thrive here treat each rejection as a step toward the next opportunity, stay energized through volume, learn from every conversation, and keep dialing.
What You'll Do
Generate qualified pipeline through high-volume outbound: cold calls, personalized email sequences, and LinkedIn outreach to ortho and spine practices.
Research target accounts and craft a compelling narrative around each prospect's specific pain points, connecting their challenges (patient access, referral leakage, surgical conversion, reactivation) to the outcomes Steer delivers.
Book and confirm discovery meetings for Account Executives and the Surgical Specialty Division sales leader.
Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene, logging activity, tracking pipeline, and managing follow-up cadences.
Iterate on outreach based on response data and feedback from L10 reviews.
Hit and exceed weekly activity and monthly meeting-booked targets.
What We're Looking For
1+ years in an SDR, BDR, or comparable high-volume outbound role, ideally in healthcare, SaaS, or health tech.
Coachable, persistent, and consistent: you welcome feedback, apply it quickly, and keep your momentum and attitude intact through a high-rejection environment.
A natural storyteller who can diagnose a prospect's pain points and build a narrative that makes the problem, and the solution, impossible to ignore.
Strong written and verbal communication; you can earn a busy administrator's attention in under thirty seconds.
Self-motivated and metrics-driven, comfortable being measured on activity and outcomes.
Organized with strong follow-through.
Familiarity with the orthopedic, spine, or surgical specialty landscape is a strong plus.
Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools.
