About the position - Pinion is creating a user oriented, interactive environment that utilizes our innovative user engagement mechanism. Our goal is to make the mobile version of this environment available in the 1st half of 2025. We are seeking an experienced mobile engineer to take our existing app and focus on its compatibilty and usability on mobile devices. An ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable working in a remote startup environment. A self-motivated team player who works well with other team members and can adapt to fast-changing environments will thrive. You should reliably have available bandwidth to be able to communicate with teammates and work on development tasks. Responsibilities and Duties Transition our existing environment to a "mobile forward" environment Preserve existing functionality on Web App and transfer it to Mobile environment. Be familiar with React, Node, and mobile native technologies. Work with the analytics and front-end team as necessary to enable new functionality. Consistently take on and complete work assignments in reasonable time frames. Participate in governance and review (Workflow staging, QA/QC, documentation, etc) Qualifications Significant experience working with relational / SQL databases. Must have a good experience level with a mix of our core environment: Linux, React, SQL Server, Entity Framework. Node.js. Experience with Client-side and Server-side Development Good team player and willingness to engage with teammates, get to know them and create a collaborative working environment. Available bandwidth - We understand life that happens, jobs change, families require time and we expect to accommodate this but you should expect to consistently contribute at least 10 hours per week, with more welcome. Compensation - Please Note: We are a true early stage start up (pre-funding/pre-revenue) and all working for future equity only (no salaries yet) using the Slicing Pie methodology (www.slicingpie.com) to fairly allocate equity in the company.
