You will be joining the founding engineering team, owning core modules end-to-end and shaping the technical direction of a high-growth climate-tech startup. Role Overview We are looking for a fundamentally strong Full-Stack Developer who can build complete features end-to-end — frontend, backend, database, integrations, and occasional DevOps. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys: Owning a feature completely (UI → API → DB → deploy) Solving complex workflows (forms, certificate logic, AI automation) Working across React, Node.js, and Python (FastAPI workers) Being flexible: Ability to work on multiple tech stacks Working fast in a startup environment with high autonomy You will work directly with the Founders, contributing to architecture, performance improvements, and product innovation. Key Responsibilities Frontend Build enterprise-grade UIs using React, MUI Implement complex dynamic forms using react-hook-form Implementation multi tenant views Create dashboards, tables, filters, and real-time UI components Handle timezone conversion, i18n, and multi-tenant UI logic Convert business logic into clean, maintainable UI components Backend Develop scalable APIs using Node.js (Express) Work with Prisma, PostgreSQL, Redis/Valkey Implement backend logic for sustainability workflows Build/extend background workers (RabbitMQ consumers) Implement validations, access control, error handling Write clean business logic following architecture guidelines AI/Python (Exposure, not mandatory initially) Consume FastAPI microservice endpoints Trigger async PDF/OCR pipelines Handle AI-driven suggestions and form builder results General Own features from spec → implementation → testing → deployment Write clean, tested, maintainable code Participate in design discussions and architecture reviews Debug production issues when needed Step in to help on frontend/backend when another dev is unavailable Work closely with the founding engineer for high-level planning Required Skills Must-Have Strong experience in React.js, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, MUI Strong backend development with Node.js + Express Experience with PostgreSQL and writing SQL queries Hands-on with Prisma ORM Understanding of different design patterns Experience building end-to-end features independently Good understanding of REST APIs, auth, sessions, tokens Ability to debug issues across frontend, backend, and DB Comfortable with Git, CI/CD basics Good to Have Experience with Python + FastAPI RabbitMQ / Redis / background workers AWS (ECS, EB, S3, CloudFront, RDS) PDF parsing, OCR, or AI integration experience Understanding of system design & scalable architectures Experience with internationalization and timezone handling Soft Skills Ownership mindset Strong problem-solving Ability to work fast and iteratively Clear communication Comfortable working in an early-stage startup Willingness to learn new tools and switch tasks quickly What You Will Build Dynamic compliance & certificate workflows Real-time dashboards & reporting AI-driven form automation Massive PDF → structured data pipelines SAP & external integrations Multi-tenant enterprise SaaS modules High-availability architectures for global customers Why Join Us Work directly with founders on high-impact climate-tech problems Build an industry-first product with global enterprise adoption Extremely high ownership — you own features end-to-end Opportunity to grow into Tech Lead / Engineering Manager Flexible work culture, zero bureaucracy Be part of a high-growth, mission-driven startup Compensation Competitive salary based on experience + meaningful ESOPs for early engineers.
