Senior Data Engineer / Analyst at Validus
You build and maintain the data pipelines that feed matchmaking, verification, Digital Twin training, and behavioral analysis. This is not a BI dashboard role. You work in an applied science environment alongside an ML engineer and neuroscientist.
What you'll own:
Data pipelines and ETL processes. Data quality, structuring, and accessibility across the platform. Analytics and reporting for product decisions, member engagement metrics, and platform health. You ensure the data that powers matchmaking and verification is clean, timely, and trustworthy.
You should have:
3+ years in data engineering, ideally in environments where data feeds ML models, not just dashboards
Strong SQL, Python, and experience with modern data stack (dbt, Airflow, or similar)
Comfort with data modeling for complex, multi-entity relationships (members, entities, credentials, transactions)
Experience with data quality frameworks — you care about accuracy, not just volume
Ability to work closely with ML and research teams, not just product managers
