Platform Engineer / AI Customer Research / Typescript / $250k + at TrustIn
This role is for an AI-powered research platform that went from $0 to $10M run-rate in under a year. They’re looking for a platform engineer to help them build the next generation of their product.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Own distributed systems and API work across the platform — the foundational layer that everything else depends on as we scale.
• Build the features that turn raw customer data into actionable insights — including chat-based interfaces that make research accessible to non-technical users.
• Build the incentives, recruitment flows, and panel management features that power our self-serve motion and help customers source and run research at scale.
• Collaborate with product and design on platform-wide design systems and UX — this role spans the full stack, not just the backend.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
✓2+ years of engineering experience, with a track record of owning and shipping zero-to-one projects
✓Strong TypeScript across both frontend and backend — you're comfortable on any layer of the stack
✓Experience with distributed systems and API design — you think carefully about how things scale
✓Product sensibility — you care about how things feel to users, not just whether they work
