Partnership Manager (Engineering Background) at SecureMe App & Wearables
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Partnership Manager with an engineering background to drive strategic collaborations in the automation and technology sectors. This role requires expertise in identifying, managing, and nurturing partnerships to deliver innovative plant and process automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partnership Development:
• Identify and establish partnerships with companies specializing in automation technologies (e.g., AGVs, conveyor systems, Vision AI, robotics, and SPMs).
• Leverage technical knowledge to evaluate potential partners’ capabilities and alignment with project needs.
2. Strategic Planning:
• Collaborate with internal engineering and project teams to define partnership strategies aligned with technical and business goals.
• Research market trends and emerging technologies to identify partnership opportunities.
3. Technical Negotiation & Contract Management:
• Lead technical discussions and negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with engineering requirements and standards.
• Manage contracts, timelines, and deliverables for collaborative projects.
4. Collaboration Management:
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and partners to ensure seamless execution of automation solutions.
• Monitor partnership performance and suggest improvements for optimizing outcomes.
5. Industry Engagement:
• Represent the organization at technical conferences, trade shows, and industry events to foster connections and promote partnership opportunities.
• Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and presentations for prospective partners.
Qualifications:
• Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field).
• Master’s degree or an MBA with a technical focus is a plus.
• Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or project management within the automation, manufacturing, or engineering domain.
• Technical Expertise:
• Solid understanding of automation technologies like IoT, robotics, AGVs, and conveyor systems.
• Ability to evaluate technical capabilities and solutions of potential partners.
• Skills:
• Strong technical negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to various stakeholders.
