About the role Skills: Kubernetes, Distributed Systems, Microservices Overview At Signadot, we are building a Kubernetes-native platform to solve one of the biggest challenges in modern software development: testing microservices. We empower engineering teams to create high-fidelity, ephemeral "sandbox" environments for every code change, eliminating the bottlenecks of shared environments. This allows developers to ship complex, distributed applications faster and with more confidence. We are looking for our first Developer Advocate to join our team. This is a hands-on, technical role for an engineer who loves to communicate. You are a platform engineer or DevOps expert at heart, but your passion is teaching, writing, and helping other engineers solve complex problems. Your primary mission is to educate the world (our 1-to-many audience) on how to build and test distributed systems effectively. Your secondary mission is to be the voice of the customer (our 1-to-few audience), using your insights to directly influence and contribute to our product roadmap. What You'll Do: Create Technical Content & Artifacts: Write in-depth, technical blog posts and tutorials that resonate with platform, DevOps and Developers building applications. Create compelling demos, reference architectures, and code samples that showcase Signadot in a real-world context. Own and improve our technical documentation, making it a world-class resource that empowers developers to be successful on their own. Collaborate with marketing provide a feedback loop from our community and target audience to shape content strategy. Engage with Users and Drive Product: Help users succeed, answering their technical questions in community channels (e.g., Slack, forums) and on customer-facing calls. Act as a product owner for the developer experience. Be the primary technical voice from the community, channeling feedback, frustrations, and ideas directly to the founding team. Contribute to the product. Use your expertise to identify gaps and contribute to our codebase, especially on features that improve the developer experience. Engage in relevant developer communities and conversations to establish authority and trust, driving organic product awareness for Signadot.
