NodeJs Backend Developer

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer who has strong hands-on experience in Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, Docker, and AWS services. You will be involved in building scalable backend APIs, designing database structures, and contributing to secure backend infrastructure for our fast-growing hyperlocal marketplace platform. We expect clear understanding of Monolithic and Microservices architecture to help us scale the platform efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain backend services using Node.js & TypeScript Develop REST APIs & microservices architecture components Design and manage MongoDB schemas, indexing & optimization Handle Docker containers and environment configurations Deploy and manage backend services on AWS (EC2 / S3 / Lambda / EKS etc.) Integrate internal modules and third-party systems Debug, optimize, and improve backend system performance Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams Required Skills: Strong experience in Node.js / Express.js Expertise in TypeScript Hands-on experience with MongoDB Strong containerization skills using Docker Good understanding of Monolithic & Microservices architecture Working knowledge of AWS cloud services Familiarity with Git & REST API standards Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree OR relevant technical background 2 to 3 years of backend development experience Why Join Glatro?
