Artists will work closely with show leads and understand and deliver work according to the requirements. Roto artist would create roto 2D digital plates mattes for roto shots.
Artists will be primarily involved in rotoing non organic shapes having 2d movement with motion blur (eg geometrical structures without detail). In case of organic shapes they would be using point tracking and stabilizing having minimal movement.
In case of a split task, they would pass the splines to the key artist for final compilation.
They would be involved into providing anim block rotos which are garbage masks for visual presentation purposes to the client.
