Role Overview
As a Sales Intern, you will work alongside our founding sales team to help build pipeline, engage prospective customers, and support the full sales cycle. This is a hands-on role — not a shadow position. You'll run real outreach, have real conversations, and contribute directly to revenue outcomes. By the end of the summer, you'll have a deep understanding of B2B sales motion, CRM discipline, and consultative selling in a high-growth AI startup.

What You'll Do
Conduct outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and phone to government contracting and proposal teams
Qualify inbound leads and route them appropriately through the pipeline
Research target accounts and craft personalized outreach messaging
Maintain accurate records in our CRM (HubSpot or equivalent)
Support follow-up sequences for events, conferences, and partner referrals
Assist in building sales collateral, email templates, and pitch decks
Participate in live discovery and demo calls alongside senior team members
Contribute insights on prospect feedback to inform product and messaging decisions
What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Curious, coachable, and self-motivated — you take initiative without being asked
Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote environment
Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or outreach platforms is a plus
Prior internship or part-time experience in sales, customer service, or business development is helpful but not required
Interest in AI, government technology, or enterprise SaaS is a strong differentiator
Growth & Development
