Job description:
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and converting new clients among US-based property preservation companies — while also supporting retention and cross selling & upselling of existing accounts. This is a highly targeted B2B sales role that requires a strong understanding of RPR's service offerings and the ability to communicate the value of outsourced data processing to decision-makers in the US real estate and mortgage industry.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work across time zones, communicate confidently with US clients, and build a consistent pipeline of qualified leads that convert into long-term revenue relationships for RPR.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify and research target companies — National, Regional, and Inspection Property Preservation Companies in the US market.
Build and maintain a structured prospect database using LinkedIn, industry directories, NAMFS listings, and online communities.
Execute outbound outreach via email campaigns, LinkedIn, cold calls, and industry forums.
Attend (virtually) or monitor US industry events, webinars, and trade associations to identify prospects.
Qualify inbound leads generated via the website, brochure downloads, and referrals.
2. Sales Conversion & Deal Closure
Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments with prospective clients to understand their processing pain points.
Present RPR's service offerings clearly and compellingly — tailoring pitches to the specific needs of each prospect.
Prepare and send customized proposals, pricing quotations, and service agreements.
Follow up persistently and professionally to move prospects through the sales funnel to closure.
Meet monthly and quarterly new client acquisition targets set by leadership.
3. Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for new accounts during onboarding and early engagement.
Maintain regular check-ins with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
Work closely with operations to ensure smooth handover of new clients and alignment on service expectations.
Manage client feedback professionally and escalate service issues to the relevant team promptly.
4. Market Intelligence & Strategy
Track competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments in the US property preservation and REO (real estate owned) industry.
Provide regular feedback to leadership on prospect objections, market needs, and service gaps.
Suggest new service offerings or pricing models based on client conversations and market research.
Monitor platforms such as REO Network, Default Servicing News, and NAMFS communications for industry intelligence.
5. CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospects, interactions, proposals, and deals in the system.
Provide weekly sales pipeline reports to the sales head.
Track conversion rates, outreach volume, and revenue targets against actuals.
Continuously refine outreach messaging based on response rates and conversion data.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
MBA or additional sales/marketing certifications are an advantage
Experience
3–6 years of B2B sales or business development experience
Prior experience selling to US-based clients strongly preferred
Background in BPO, KPO, data services, IT services, or real estate-adjacent industries is a strong advantage
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
