Our client is a consulting and custom software development firm focused on regulated sectors. Typically, their clients seek high-end software development services, with the firm providing top-tier warranties. Consequently, the client has established a solid reputation in the industry for creating solutions that meet specifications with very few software defects. They are recognized as the leading software developer in Australia. Note: working hours 7 am–3 pm UA time REQUIREMENTS 4+ years of experience in commercial software engineering. Knowledge of Microsoft Foundry/Azure AI, including experience working with Foundry, model deployments, and Azure-hosted inference. Some exposure to deploying/operating apps on Azure (Container Apps or similar), Azure SQL, pipelines, and basic IaC. Experience in front-end development with a modern JavaScript framework (Vue likely). Understanding of web/API, including REST integration, auth/session basics, and embedding UI in an existing app. Basic knowledge of LLM/tool-calling concepts (API or SDK usage). Understanding of working with MCP-based tool integrations for database access (experience helpful, not essential). Experience with legacy .NET with awareness of ASP.NET Web Forms. Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows such as Cursor/Claude (Likely Cursor IDE). Strong problem-solver who can work with modern AI tooling rather than needing to know every framework detail upfront. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and integrate a chat UI frontend into the existing legacy Web Forms application with minimal impact on the host system. Design and implement chat backend services and APIs, including integration with MCP and Azure SQL through Data API Builder (DAB). Configure and maintain Microsoft Foundry test models and connect model endpoints within the portal. Collaborate with Azure infrastructure components, including Container Apps, App Services, Azure SQL, Bicep, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and authentication/secrets management. Implement secure authentication and user-context handoff between the Web Forms application and the chat service. Perform production hardening activities, including security improvements, RBAC configuration, monitoring, and logging implementation. WE OFFER US and EU projects based on advanced technologies.
