Position Summary
We are seeking a Product Manager, APIs & Integrations, based in India, to join our growing Product Management team. This role will deliver the roadmap and execution for our product and third-party systems through a single, unified integration process.
This individual will collaborate closely with engineering, design, compliance, client success, and partnerships, to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric integration solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong product thinking, technical fluency, and a deep understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and platform products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Own the road map execution for APIs and integrations.
Partner with engineering and architecture to design scalable, secure, and reliable APIs, webhooks, and integration frameworks that span both products.
Lead discovery with customers, partners, internal stakeholders, and developers to identify integration pain points and opportunities across the combined product portfolio.
Prioritize features and enhancements across APIs, webhooks, data exchange, authentication/authorization, and partner integrations, balancing near-term unification work with long-term platform investment.
Create detailed product requirements, epics, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria for API and integration capabilities spanning both products.
Drive improvements to developer and implementation experience, including API usability, documentation, on-boarding, and support, with a single set of standards across the platform.
Define success metrics for integrations and APIs, such as adoption, time to integrate, reliability, usage, and partner/customer satisfaction, measured consistently across both products.
Collaborate with compliance and security stakeholders to ensure APIs and integrations meet regulatory, privacy, and data protection requirements across both product lines.
Work closely with the Sr. Product Manager for go-to-market, implementation, and client-facing teams to support launches, partner enabling and customer adoption of unified integration capabilities.
Monitor product performance, integration health, and customer feedback to inform future enhancements and ongoing consolidation work.
Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in APIs, integrations, and platform product management.
Define API versioning, life cycle, and deprecation strategies that account for both legacy product surfaces and the unified platform target state.
Partner with technical teams on authentication and authorization approaches such as OAuth, SSO, API keys, and role-based access, standardized across both products.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
3–5 years of experience in product management, platform product management, or business analysis in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
Experience working on APIs, integrations, platform products, or technical product areas.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, data mapping, system integrations, and common integration patterns.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically across multiple products or systems and unify them into a single, coherent process.
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business requirements and product decisions.
Experience writing user stories, requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria for technical products.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to inform prioritization.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes and cross-functional product delivery.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams and across geographies (including close partnership with US-based stakeholders).
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Notion, Postman, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in HCM, talent management, HR tech, healthcare, or other regulated software environments.
Familiarity with integration platforms, middleware, iPaaS tools, or developer platform tooling.
