Full Stack Developer (AI-Driven Legal Tech Platform) at Predictive Data Sciences

We are an early-stage startup, led by industry veterans, building an innovative AI-powered platform for legal professionals. Our product uses state-of-the-art search, vectorization, and AI tools to revolutionize how small law firms, students, and legal teams access and work with legal data.
Role Summary:
We are seeking two talented and versatile Full Stack Developers to join our foundational team. You will work closely with technical founders, participate in rapid prototyping and feature development, and play a critical role in bringing our vision to market.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to all stages of product development, from prototyping and feature design to production and user testing.
Develop frontend and backend components using modern frameworks.
Rapidly adopt and effectively use AI coding tools in your daily workflow, seeking to maximize productivity.
Follow a spec-driven development approach: interpret detailed specifications and translate them into robust, maintainable code.
Collaborate with a distributed team, communicate clearly, and iteratively deliver features.
Participate in evaluation and integration of large legal data sets, including vectorization and search features.
Ensure attention to security, privacy, and scalable architecture from the outset.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
Experience building modern web applications using React.
Backend experience, ideally with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and PostgreSQL.
Strong full stack development skills; able to work efficiently on both frontend and backend as needed.
Demonstrated willingness to leverage AI-based coding and development tools. (Familiarity with AI Studio, Copilot, or similar is a plus.)
Comfort with rapid iteration in a startup environment, and openness to “learning by doing.”
Strong communication skills (in English) and ability to work alongside a globally distributed team.
Bonus Points:
Familiarity with database vectorization, LLMs, or semantic search.
Prior experience in legal tech or handling large, public datasets.
Knowledge of Firebase or similar cloud deployment platforms.
Exposure to spec-driven or test-driven development methodologies.
